Penn State Project Haiti Fundraiser

Maria Malizia (Senior, Penn State), President of Project Haiti, organized, produced, choreographed, and led a creative dance performance at the State Theater in State College, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, December 3rd that benefited Project Haiti. Close to 270 people came to the performance and it raised $1,934. The money will be split between Project Haiti's partner organizations in Haiti. Maison Fortune Orphanage is one of Project Haiti's main partners. Maria combined her love for dance and Haiti by producing a benefit dance performance for Haiti that reinterpreted Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy through various forms of dance.
