Kemps Landing Magnet School

snowman This week Kemps Landing Magnet School students donated $1,100 to the orphanage. In the past, Linda Jaglowski, a teacher at the school, made several presentations and gave several talks to the students about the Maison Fortune Orphanage in Hinche, Haiti. The presentations included information about the trips Ms. Jaglowski made to the orphanage.

When the students wanted to do something to help after the tragic January earthquake, Maison Fortuné was designated the receipent of the donation. Students just wanted to help the children at the orphanage and this was the best way. To learn more about the school, visit the web site at:
