Regis Jesuit High School

Located in in Aurora, CO, Regis Jesuit High School adopts various causes throughout the year and Maison Fortune Orphanage is one that was chosen this year upon proposal from the French Honors Society.  Ms. Stephanie Debossu is a French Teacher at the school and moderator of the organization.  Once an organization is designated, students are encouraged to donate to the cause though their service oriented philosophy. This can be money or items, such as food, shoes and of course on site help at places like the schools. The juniors and seniors spend 2 weeks every year at a service site. They can choose between food banks, elementary schools, schools emphasizing the disabled, retirement centers as well as centers for the elderly with Alzheimer and such.  The Foundation has received a check in the amount of $654.12 as a result of recent efforts by the students.

The school is co-divisional, with a boys building and a girls building with co-ed time, such as when students meet outside for lunch, or for drama club, choir and other similar activities.
They cannot be in the opposite sex building unless supervised by staff or faculty or for other official business. They are a Jesuit school, founded on the beliefs of St. Ignatius of Loyola. If you would like more information, the website address is: www.regisjesuit.com.
