Making a Difference in the Life of a Child.

"Whatever you do to the least of my brothers and sisters, the poor and powerless, you do to me" (Mt. 25,40).

The Endowment Fund

The Endowment Fund is an invested fund established to ensure the future financial stability of the orphanage.  It is the goal of the Foundation that eventually the orphanage become self-sustaining.

In 2007, a 5 year campaign was begun to raise $3,000,000 for the fund.  The initial amount pledged was $546,000.  Of that, the pledge amount still to be honored is $414,000.  Our current Endowment Fund balance is $170,000.

Help us reach our goal by donating to the Endowment Fund or making a pledge to the Endowment Fund.

Have you considered a making a bequest or making the Foundation the beneficiary of an insurance policy to help the children at the orphanage?

The Board of Directors of the Foundation (the “Board”) has (a) appointed an Endowment Fund Committee (the “Committee”) for the management of the Fund; and (b) determined that the committee should adopt certain Endowment Fund Management Policies and Fund Resolutions for implementation by the Committee, including setting the amount of the Fund’s corpus, the amount available for disbursement and expenditure at any time, the investment of amounts included in the Fund, the allocation of donations and other contributions to the Fund, and certain other matters related to the Fund, in order to provide for appropriate stewardship of the assets entrusted to the Fund and to assure the long-term viability of the Fund to serve its intended purpose.  More detailed information is available by clicking on the Policies and Resolutions highlighted above.
